An NHS trust has issued a warning to prospective job applicants that it would never ask for a fee in order to secure a position at its organisation.
Hywel Dda NHS Trust, which covers mid and west Wales, issued the advice after it became aware that fraudulent job offers were being made.
In such cases, the applicants were asked to pay a fee in order to gain employment.
Bosses at the trust have said it would never ask for money from applicants.
In a statement, the organisation said: "Hywel Dda NHS Trust has been made aware of fraudulent offers of employment being made by dishonest people.
"In these cases applicants are asked to pay a fee in order to be offered a position.
"Please be aware that Hywel Dda NHS Trust never makes a request for money to be paid by job applicants."
It added that all external positions were offered at the NHS Jobs website
